IMAGES OF THE 2007 KENTLAND FIELD TRIP
On Sunday, March 18, 2007, the Impact Field Studies Group hosted its fourth annual LPSC field trip. This year we visited the amazing Kentland Central Uplift in Indiana. Our guides were John Weber, Heather Brusnahan and Kat Barnard of Grand Valley State University, who are currently conducting field work on this site. All together, 20 IFSG members and guests spent the day touring the Newton County Stone Quarry sited on the central uplift. The 3-D exposures of the impact structure were very impressive!
