Hap McSween Elected Fellow of the American Geophysical Union
In May 2006, Hap McSween was honored as a newly elected Fellow of the American
Geophysical Union at its spring meeting in Baltimore, MD. AGU Fellowship is highly selective, with awards to only 0.1% of its members. Hap's citation read: "For leadership in the study of primitive meteorites and their interpretation in terms of processes in planetary bodies and in the study of Martian igneous rocks, and for contributions to our understanding of the early history and evolution of the solar system and geologic processes on Mars."
